The Historians’ Guild brings together those who lecture or write about, or have a passion for, the history of North Staffordshire and the adjacent districts of Cheshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire.
Visitors are very welcome to share what Associates of the Guild publish on this site. Individually they have particular special interests, but the Guild is not a general information service for either family or local history.
Attendance at meetings is by invitation limited to 25 to promote the best circumstances for discussion.
The guild has little formal structure, but elects a chairman (Ian Bailey), treasurer (Jim Sutton) and corresponding secretary (Paul Anderton) who can be contacted by writing to :-
